Shadwell
Shadwell is a five-piece Boston band whose sound has been compared to contemporary Brit-rock heavies to straight up American rock. In 2007, the band released its self-titled EP, Shadwell, with the help of producer Tom Polce (CBS Records). Since then, Shadwell has played in some of the northeast’s most popular indie venues, including frequent stops at Boston's The Middle East, Paradise Rock Club, and T.T. the Bears and New York’s Arlene’s Grocery and Pianos, and has received airplay on several Boston-area radio stations including WBCN, WXRV, and WCIB.
For the past two years, WXKS Kiss 108 selected Shadwell to play the sidestage at their annual "Kiss Concert" at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. Most recently, Boston Music Spotlight named the band "2009 Battle of the Bands" winner as well as one of their "Top Ten Local Bands to Watch in 2010."
Shadwell kicked off 2010 with the release of its first full-length album Clarity (produced and engineered by Ducky Carlisle) and won spots in the Red Gorilla Showcase and Tinderbox Music Showcase during SXSW.
