Ashley Jordan is a vibrant singer/songwriter who is making her mark with her distinctive vocal and guitar performances.  For nearly 5 years, Ashley has been performing regularly at venues in the Boston area and beyond. She is frequently seen performing alongside her friend/mentor, John Gerard, a celebrated singer/songwriter on the Boston scene well known for his incredible voice and moving guitar performances.

Ashley’s first full-length LP, “Simple Love,” was released in February 2010, and includes 10 beautiful original songs and two additional covers.  It features several talented guest artists including Kim Jennings, Steve Rapson and violinist Matt Leavenworth.  It has since received a substantial amount of press and has been described by critics as “honest” and “powerful.”  Among its many accolades, the album was selected as one of Metronome Magazines “Top Pick for May, 2010" has received radio airplay, and contains a track featured in the romantic comedy “Good for You,” slated for a 2011 release.

Most recently, Ashley recorded a cover of “You Are Not Alone” (originally performed by Michael Jackson.  Upon hearing the recording, its original songwriters, The Van Passel’s, personally contacted Ashley and are now writing a song for her to record called “It’s That Smile”.
